What is Stacking Stacks?

Stacking is the process by which STX holders can earn Bitcoin yield by locking their tokens and supporting the network's consensus mechanism. Read more about it on the official Stacks FAQ.

What are our fees?

Our fees are 5% of the received rewards per cycle.

Why do we charge fees?

Planbetter team believes in decentralization at all levels. We maintain our own infrastructure to reduce third party dependencies. We run our own Stacks node, Stacks explorer, Bitcoin node and Mempool.space explorer. This has a cost that we need to cover.

Unlike other pools, Planbetter operates independently from Hiro and the Stacks Foundation. We have not accepted economic incentives from other companies or VCs.

We believe in a healthy, transparent, and self-sustainable business model where its success depends solely by our reputation and performance.

Which ones are the Planbetter Pool addresses?

How often does Planbetter distribute payouts?

After the end of each odd cycle, if rewards are bigger than BTC fees. Don't worry, we are incentivized to streamline the process and lower the transaction fees the best we can.

How do I receive my share?

Stacking rewards are distributed by PoX miners to our Bitcoin address displayed above. Those rewards are in turn redistributed by us to the Bitcoin address of your choice. If you do not explicitly state one during the delegation process, we take the one Leather Wallet provides you by default.

What does «unlocked » STX mean?

Your tokens must be delegated to us and available before Planbetter Pool stacks on your behalf. That means they cannot be locked by any other pool, or sent away to another address/contract.

How can I delegate more STX tokens?

You can do it by clicking on the "Stack more STX" button oun our web app.

When is the Stacking registration deadline?

Planbetter closes the registration window 100 blocks before the rewards phase of a new Stacking cycle starts. More info is available on the «Next cycle» section above.

What's the benefit of being a non-custodial service?

Unlike custodial stacking services such as KUCOIN or OKCoin where you entrust all your funds, Planbetter Pool is never in control of your STX tokens. They always remain in your own wallet.

Which are the risks?

Planbetter Pool never holds your funds. Your STX always stays in your wallet. We are just responsible of stacking cycle after cycle and distributing BTC rewards to our users. The commitment is that you delegate your stacking power to us by relying on our reputation. That's all.

The worst scenario is that we wrongly decide to hoard the Stacking rewards instead of distributing them. Our reputation would be severely damaged by doing so. Stackers would simply have to revoke the delegation and blacklist our address. This information is always publicly available on the blockchain.

When do my tokens unlock?

Your tokens are automatically stacked cycle after cycle. You can unlock your tokens any time, and they will be released after the cycle in place ends (~14 days later).

How do I access my payouts?

Payouts are sent directly to your Leather Wallet, or to the address you chose upon initiating the Stacking process.

What happened with Stacks 2.5 Nakamoto Hardfork?

Stacks 2.5 Nakamoto Hardfork was a success. The Planbetter Pool was operational during the fork and the transition was seamless. The pool is now running on the new network.

I once delegated but my tokens are now unlocked.

Stacks 2.5 Nakamoto Hardfork forced an universal unlock for everyone. If you are still interested in stacking with us, you will need to re-delegate your tokens.

The app doesn't load. What do I do?
